about "bon" and new start!

I could not post two months, because I am not health. But I restart my blog. I think English is like a door. It gives me new world. So, It is not easy to write sentences, But I try it!
My great English teacher said “You need not become perfect, but it is important to do your best. This best means you can do. “
Most Japanese people think “Should be perfect” “If you work very hard, your diseases run away.” “Weak is bad” …..
Today　I talk about “bon”. “bon” is special day for Japanese. “bon” is summer event. It is only three days. However Almost Japanese take holiday and go back hometown. It look likes “great Japanese move”. If someone can not go back hometown on the days, someone would feel sad.
I try to explain to “bon”. In bon day, ancestors and dead relative and dead family come back our home. So we prepare foods and lights and for our ghosts. And we make cow and horse to use cucumber s and eggplants etc vegetables. The animals were ride by our dead family. Old Japanese thought dead country is very far, so dead people need animals to ride. Light is a mark for dead people.
